OSHE Policy |
It is the commitment of the management of S.E.H. Malaysia Group, being one of the biggest silicon wafer suppliers to the semiconductor industry worldwide, to proactively demonstrate concerns to achieve the following objectives in occupational safety, health and environmental matters:
- To equally prioritize OSHE in decision making process related to plant operations and integrate it in overall business activities.
- To protect the environment from unnecessary damage resulted from the identified environmental aspect such as water, land, air and other resources.
- To eliminate hazard and reduce OH&S risk related to all activities performed by S.E.H. Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. employees or other interested parties personnel, as relevant.
- To comply with all applicable legislations and other requirements related to OSHE.
- To continually improve the performance relevant to the established OSHE management system and enhance the environmental performance.

Policy Statement |
It is the commitment of the management of S.E.H. Malaysia Group, being one of the biggest silicon wafer suppliers to the semiconductor industry worldwide, to proactively demonstrate concerns to achieve the following objectives in occupational safety, health and environmental matters:
- Established OSHE objectives and planning action to achieve the set objectives.
- Identify and assess occupational safety and health hazards, environmental aspects, OSHE risk and opportunities and taking the appropriate control measures.
- Promote the importance of prevention of injury, ill health and environmental pollution.
- Access all applicable regulations related to OSHE.
- Establish responsibility and accountability to all personnel.
- Provide OSHE training program and maintain the necessary competency.
- Ensure employee's consultation and participation in OSHE matters and programmes implementation.
- Effectively communicate OSHE issues internally and externally.
- Establish appropriate OSHE operational control and relevant documentation.
- Ensure all changes are effectively managed.
- Establish emergency response plan to prepare and respond to potential emergency situations.
- Investigate all accidents and develop relevant corrective actions.
- Monitor, measure and analyse OSHE performance to identify areas for continual improvement.
- Audit the OSHE management system at planned intervals.
- Manage contractors and suppliers with regards to OSHE requirements.
In doing so, the management of S.E.H. Malaysia Group is committed to establish the following initiatives:
- Identify the occupational safety and health hazards, environmental aspects, assessing their effects and determine appropriate control measures.
- Promote the importance of prevention from exposure to injury, ill health and occupational health hazards.
- Assess all applicable regulations related to OSHE.
- Establish responsibility and accountability to all personnel.
- Encourage employees' involvement in OSHE programmes implementation.
